Joining forces with esteemed creatives like Pertjan Pot and Paulo Biacchi, Sarah lent her expertise to this visionary initiative. The Molongo project embodies a harmonious blend of design innovation and cultural preservation, centred on sustainability and community engagement. The brief was to reimagine hand-carved objects, transforming local tourist souvenirs into sought-after collectables. Sarah ingeniously utilised waste materials from Molongo branches, repurposing them as handles for exquisite wooden spoons, marrying form with function in a truly sustainable approach.
