Jigsaw - Stoff

Eager for more collaborative ventures, Sarah was drawn to Stoff Studios' bold patterns, leading to their collaboration on the Jigsaw bag collection. Stoff Studios, comprising Carys Briggs and Andrew Mason, blend textile and furniture design seamlessly. Familiar with each other's work, Sarah admired their combined approach, sparking discussions on design philosophy during the Makers House exhibition in 2018.

The collaboration inspired by Stoff's striking textiles and furniture displayed at the London Design Fair, Sarah envisioned a collaboration to match their intensity. The partnership birthed a bold and sculptural bag collection, with Stoff crafting intricate print designs inspired by intersecting brush strokes, complemented by Sarah's material samples to determine colour palettes.

The bags, available in sugary pink/ultramarine blue and turmeric yellow/racing green, feature abstract shapes drawn from solid objects in a linear form. Each bag, crafted from dense screen-printed cotton canvas, is unique due to the layout of pattern pieces. Finished with signature labels, colour-matching cotton straps, and nylon drawstring cords, the bags are a limited edition of 20 in each colour way.
